Warrior of the Blood-Eel

[edit] Description
The monomolecuar fractal blade coupled with new swordfighting styles allows the wielder to increase sword weapon damage
[edit] History
As the wars against the abominable machines continued, the goblin hordes were produced with harder carapaces designed to designed to counter slugs and shatter the blades of melee weapons of Aesir's warriors. As a solution to this problem, Tyr redesigned the blade forging process.
[edit] Construction and Use
These newer blades used a much harder and tougher nanoscale based carbotanium as the base material. This was done so that the edges of the blades could hold a much sharper edge, a near monomolecular edge that could slice through nearly anything given enough force to accelerate the edge through the target. In a stroke of brilliance, Tyr tied together this monomolecular edge with a fractal based pattern, so that a new blade, identical in size to the older blades, had two or even three times the effective cutting edge than that of the old. However, because of the significant differences in the construction of the new blades, new sword wielding techniques, stances, and styles had to be developed to maximize the effectiveness of the new blades. These new styles emphasized slower more forceful slashing strikes designed to increase the blades' potential. Warriors who practiced these styles with the new blades eventually became known as the Warriors of the Blood-Eel.
