Users with this ability utilize a variant of slug ammunition that was specifically designed to incapacitate enemies in their tracks with only a minimum of direct hits on the target.

During the early wars with the machines, ordinary slug ammunition was found to be ineffective in halting charging Goblins. Statistics gathered from these battles show that after absorbing the trauma of the first shots, the enemy will disregard further ballistic insult. Thus a new type of slug ammunition was needed for quick incapacitation. Odin, appalled at the human casualty ratios of these battles delegated to one of his subminds the sole directive of quickly engineering a new type of ammunition that could effectively combat the machines. The result was a masterpiece of elegant engineering.

[edit] Construction and Use

The new slug employed the latest in blended metal nanoalloy technology, a specially designed sabot shape for allowing maximum armor penetration, and a series of unique grooves and channels from the sintering construction process. Once the round penetrates the target, the slug fragments into splinters which are designed to only ricochet around inside the goblin carapace causing maximum damage to the internal systems and central motivator circuits.
